How To Stop Fighting For Peace

You do not stop a fight by fighting. You stop a fight by stopping to fight.“An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”
Mahatma Gandhi, 1869 – 1948, Peacemaker

WE can stop this irony today. There is nothing to fight for, because all of what we desire has already been given to us. All is already present with us — here, in our blessed relationships that we have with each other. The peace that we were born with is still and always with us. We do not need to do anything at all; we do not, especially, need to fight. We think we may gain something or even protect something by fighting for it. But, by fighting for it, we would become part of the same process that stole our natural peace. Again, there is nothing we need to do to preserve our peace, but this — stop fighting all together.

Thank you for peace to help me see everything beautiful.

Thank you for the message of all mankind and mother nature, together as one.

Thank you for the courage to no longer participate in what may harm us.

Thank you for the wisdom of knowing that if may I hurt you, I get hurt too.

Thank you for the patience to accept each person just as they are.

Thank you for the Love that bridges the gap between us.

Thank you for the connectivity with the wonder of life and the universe.

Thank you for a greatful heart that is in awe of each and every gift given to us wholeheartedly.

Thank you for the vision of seeing my dream as reality —

“And When You Think Of Trust
Does It Lead You Home
To A Place That You Only Dream Of
When You’re All Alone
And You Can Go By Feel
Instead Of Circumstance”

– Taken from the song ‘Keep The Faith’, performed by Michael Jackson, 1958 – 2009, Singer, Songwriter, Dancer, Peacemaker

Thank you for the comfort that comes with my blessed relationship with you!
