She spent her whole married life with Jeremy in that home that was now in flames before her.

She didn’t even have anyone to blame; it was the same sun that nourishes the whole world that caused the bushfire in their town.

She was torn. Jeremy, with his arms casually crossed, asked her,

“Where would you like to make our new home?”

She crossed her arms casually and gazed to her side, softly smiling.

“Some place cooler, I guess.”

They both knew right there and then why they were together.
